Products / Katola

Katola is a steel roof panel sold as standard 44-3/8 by 16 inch, 26 gauge sheets that lay down like ordinary roofing shingles, sold individually and in do-it-yourself packages. The spec sheet says the sheets can be installed over existing shingles, on 1/2 inch plywood or over 1 x 4 inch horizontal strapping with approved building paper, and are suited to high-pitch roofs and hard-to-reach jobs on homes, cottages and sheds. Steel Tile publishes a limited 40-year SMP paint-film warranty, with shorter terms for Bright Red; its colour and chalk limits run 30 years.
