SOPRALENE 180 PS 3.0 (polyolefin, sanded) is an SBS-modified bitumen field and flashing base ply for roofing assemblies. It is reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat coated on both sides with SBS polymer-modified bitumen, with a polyolefin burn-off film on top and a sanded underside, and is installed in cold adhesive or hot asphalt. A thinner SOPRALENE 180 PS 2.2 is made to the same construction. SOPREMA lists both to ASTM D6164 Type I Grade S, with UL, FM Approvals, Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County marks on the product pages.
