SOPRABASE S is an SBS modified bitumen-coated, polyester-reinforced base and anchor sheet for multi-ply membrane assemblies, sanded on both surfaces with laying lines printed on the top. It is applied in hot asphalt or mechanically fastened, and may be fastened to nailable substrates when approved as an anchor sheet. The product data sheet lists a typical thickness of 59 mils (51 minimum) and a net mass of 30.6 lb per 100 square feet.
