ELASTOPHENE PS 3.0 (polyolefin, sanded) is an SBS-modified bitumen base ply for multi-ply roof membrane assemblies. It is reinforced with a glass fiber mat coated on both sides with SBS polymer-modified bitumen, with a polyolefin burn-off film on top and a sanded underside, and is installed in cold adhesive or hot asphalt. A thinner ELASTOPHENE PS 2.2 is made to the same construction. SOPREMA lists both to ASTM D6163 Type I Grade S, with UL, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County and LA-DBS approval marks on the product pages.
