ALSAN RS 230 FIELD is SOPREMA's high-performance, rapid-setting polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) liquid resin, combined with ALSAN RS Fleece polyester reinforcement to form a monolithic, self-flashing, and self-adhering waterproofing membrane with no seams or mechanical fasteners. Roller- or brush-applied after catalyzing, it is offered in summer and winter formulations in Pebble Gray or Traffic White, cures fully in 3-6 hours (summer formulation) or 5 hours (winter formulation) at 68°F, and is UV stable, high-solids, and VOC-compliant (<5 g/L per EPA Method 24). Per the product data sheet, total applied thickness ranges 98-140 mils depending on substrate profile (106 mils typical on CSP 3-4/sanded base sheet), with peak load of 55-60 lbf/in and 55-85% elongation at 73.4°F per ASTM D5147. It carries a Miami-Dade NOA, Florida Building Code approval, UL and FM Approvals, and is CRRC Rated (SRI 109 initial / 88 three-year).
