Solatube's roof-mounted solar attic fans, the larger RM 2400 and the RM 1500 with a 16-watt panel for smaller attics, open-ceiling garages and sheds, each offered as a core model or with the ClimaSense controller, which vents on set temperature and humidity limits and keeps the fan running up to 4 hours after sunset. The brochure prints a five-blade non-corrosive fan and seamless zinc-aluminum flashing, in low profile, high profile and pitched-panel roof mounts plus a tile-roof flashing. Solatube's copy disagrees on the RM 2400 panel: the brochure prints a 33-watt panel, while the attic fans page calls it 33-watt in some places and 35-watt in others. The page states the high profile mount meets Florida Building Code HVHZ (FL14826) and the low profile mount meets Florida Building Code (FL10884), and both meet Texas Department of Insurance (RV-57). Accessories are a thermal switch (on near 85 F, off below 65 F) and an RM 1500 add-on panel. Solatube's limited warranty gives the solar panel and motor, and the housing, flashing base, fan blade, seals and fasteners, 10 years each, and the ClimaSense controller 5 years, excluding labor.
