The SolaVent is Solar Royal's 30 watt solar powered, reversible-airflow ventilation fan with a thermostat, which attaches below the roof deck behind an existing passive vent (gable, dormer, box, ridge or turbine vent) to convert it to active intake or exhaust ventilation without a new roof penetration or electrical wiring. Solar Royal's page says the kit contains the SolaVent, a 30 watt panel, 22 feet of cable, a thermoball, a fire fuse and mounting screws.
