The Gem Series is a non-penetrating clamp-to-seam snow retention system for standing seam metal roofs, offered with 1 inch and 2 inch bars. The Gem Clamp is an aluminum extrusion that attaches to most standing seam profiles with five points of attachment using the maker's patent-pending WaveLock technology and rounded-tip Silver Bullet set screws that are meant not to damage the paint finish or pierce the seam, and carries a stainless steel MEC bracket in 1-, 2- or 3-pipe configurations with round or square bars. Clamp variants include Mini, KLOC, KLOC Mini and Wide. The 2 inch specification lists 6061-T6 or 6063-T6 aluminum clamps, 6061-T6 aluminum or stainless steel square tubing and 300 series stainless set screws, in mill finish, powder coat or Kynar finish, made in the USA.
