SikaShield E54 PE is an SBS-modified bituminous base or intermediate ply reinforced with a non-woven polyester fabric stabilized with fiberglass, with a smooth top surface and a polyethylene burn-off film underside for torch application. The 3 mm product is 118 mil (3.0 mm) thick in 39.4 in by 32.8 ft rolls, and the maker also lists a 2.2 mm version. Its data sheet states it meets ASTM D6163 Type I Grade S, lists UL and FM Global, and prints a Class A UL 790 external fire result. Sika provides a building-owner warranty only on roofs installed by a Sika Authorized Applicator.
