Ply Sheet TA 87 is an 87 mil (2.2 mm) torch-applied SBS modified bitumen ply sheet with fiberglass mat reinforcement, a sand topside and a polyolefin burn-off film underside. It is used as the ply sheet in Sarnafil hybrid roofing systems and as a vapor retarder in Sarnafil and Sikaplan insulated roofing systems, and may be left exposed for up to six months. Rolls are 39.4 in by 49.2 ft, and the data sheet lists ASTM D6163 Type I Grade S, FM Global, Underwriters Laboratories and the Florida Building Code, with testing to ASTM E108, ANSI/FM 4474 and Miami-Dade TAS 114.
