Sarnatherm Roof Board A-III is a lightweight, high-density polyisocyanurate roof board with coated glass facers, used in new construction and recover roofs with Sarnafil or Sikaplan membranes in mechanically attached or adhered systems. It is 0.5 in thick in 4 ft x 4 ft and 4 ft x 8 ft boards, with 80 psi minimum compressive strength and a listed thermal resistance of 2.5. The data sheet lists ASTM C1289 Type II Class 4 Grade 1, FM 4450 and 4470, an FM 4473 hail rating of SH-1, UL Classified 790 and UL Certified for Canada.
