Sarnatherm EPS is a rigid expanded polystyrene roof insulation board installed on the substrate, over an approved thermal barrier, or on an existing roof before a Sarnafil or Sikaplan membrane is applied, in new and recover roofs with mechanically fastened or adhered systems. Boards come in 4 ft x 4 ft and 4 ft x 8 ft panels in various thicknesses, at ASTM C578 Types VIII, II and IX with minimum compressive strengths of 13, 15 and 25 psi. The data sheet lists ASTM C578 Types VIII, II, IX, XIV and XV, UL 1256, 790 and 263, FM 4450 and 4470, Miami-Dade County and State of Florida approvals.
