Sarnacol-2170 (US) is a solvent-based reactivating adhesive for adhering Sarnafil and Sikaplan membranes in a two-step process to clean, dry surfaces with no slope restriction, and for adhering flashings in Sika approved roofing and waterproofing systems. Listed substrates include polyisocyanurate, smooth plywood, metal, concrete and masonry walls, cellular concrete and glass-faced gypsum. It ships in 5 gal (18.9 L) pails at a coverage of 57-67 ft2/gal for bareback and 44-50 ft2/gal for feltback membrane. Sika also publishes a Sarnacol-2170 VC Adhesive version with its own data sheet. Approvals listed are FM Global, Underwriters Laboratories, Miami-Dade, the Florida Building Code and ICC ESR 1157.
