SolarFoot is S-5!'s pedestal bracket for attaching the L-Foot of a rail- mounted solar PV system to exposed-fastened metal roofs such as AG-Panel or R-Panel, and S-5! says it works with any rail maker's L-Foot (not included). Unlike S-5!'s sheeting-only brackets, it straddles minor striations in the panel and fastens through the roof into the wood deck, wood timber purlins or steel purlins, using S-5!-tested fasteners to reach the published holding strength. A factory-applied butyl sealant sits in a reservoir that prevents over-compressing the seal, and an integrated stainless M8-1.25 stud with a hex-flange nut holds the L-Foot, with a low center of gravity that S-5! says reduces the moment arm of L-Foot racking. The brochure describes all aluminum and stainless components made in the USA and a lifetime limited warranty. The product page says it uses two or four fasteners (sold separately) depending on need, while the brochure lists four points of attachment. The page lists UL2703 among its certifications.
