RibBracket is S-5!'s structural aluminum attachment bracket for common North American exposed-fastened trapezoidal-rib metal roofs, the profiles often called R-Panel or PBR-Panel. It straddles the crown of a rib with a top width of 1.0 inch (25 mm) and fastens to the sheeting only, anywhere along the rib, with four stainless-capped self-piercing screws (included) or Bulb-Tite rivets (not included); S-5! says all pre-punched holes must be used to reach the tested strength and does not generally recommend mounting on a lapped rib. A factory-applied EPDM rubber gasket seals the base with no sealant needed, and a reservoir shields the EPDM from UV. A slotted top hole takes standard M8 hardware for mounting HVAC, walkways and railed PV, and RibBracket pairs with the S-5-PVKIT for rail-less solar, with RibBracket III offered where more height is needed. The brochure calls it compatible with most common metal roofing materials; the product page says all.
