The S-5-H ("H" for horizontal seam) is S-5!'s clamp for single-folded standing seam panels whose horizontal seam is not fully closed; its setscrews install from the side rather than top-down, and S-5! points fully closed horizontal seams to the less costly S-5-H90. The two-piece design lets the clamp go on anywhere along the seam, and an insert lets it fit horizontal seams up to 0.75 inch (19 mm) wide. It is tightened with two T-30 Torx round-point setscrews that, per the brochure, slightly dimple but do not puncture the seam, and it comes with one M8 bolt. The standard clamp is for snow retention and other heavy-duty uses, including ColorGard; the shorter one-setscrew S-5-H Mini is for lighter rooftop accessories and is not to be used with SnoRail/SnoFence or ColorGard. The product page lists ICC-ES and UL2703 certifications for the standard clamp only.
