The S-5-E ("E" for European) is a structural aluminum, non-penetrating clamp for double-folded standing seam roof profiles, which the product page describes as traditional 1 in. and most 1.5 in. tall European-style seams in zinc, stainless, aluminum and coated steel; the page says it also fits Butler's MR-24. It is secured by patented round-point setscrews that dimple the seam without puncturing it and is used with ColorGard snow retention and other heavy-duty attachments. The shorter one-setscrew S-5-E Mini is for lighter rooftop accessories and is not to be used with SnoRail/SnoFence or ColorGard. The brochure says the clamp is compatible with most common metal roofing materials excluding copper, and all included hardware is stainless steel.
