ColorGard 2.0 is S-5!'s snow retention system for standing seam and exposed-fastened metal roofs: an aluminum crossmember mounted on S-5! clamps or brackets, with a ColorStrip of the actual roof material, supplied by the panel manufacturer, inserted to match the roof's color and finish. The 2.0 version adds an internal splice so the VersaClip can go directly over splices, removing preassembly and most in-field cutting, and an optional SnoClip 2.0 retards snow and ice migrating beneath the crossmember. S-5! lists all components as aluminum and stainless steel and offers a site-specific online snow calculator for engineering and a bill of materials. The product page lists a free lifetime material/defect warranty with a limited lifetime performance warranty available, while its features list describes a limited lifetime structural performance warranty; S-5!'s About page says the snow guard performance warranty is available at additional cost.
