rooflite drain is a granular lightweight aggregate from Skyland USA used as the drainage layer of multi-course extensive, semi-intensive and intensive green roofs, retaining and draining water beneath the growing medium; additional drainage elements can be added where a higher horizontal flow rate is required. It can also serve as a bedding material for pavers or patios within a green roof area. The line is offered in saturated weight classes 400 (40-50 lbs/ft3) and 500 (50-60 lbs/ft3), numbered by typical fully saturated weight per ASTM E2399, and not every class is available in every region. It is sold by the cubic yard and delivered in bulk, super sacks or one cubic foot bags.
