rooflite agricultural is a green roof growing medium from Skyland USA for rooftop farms producing vegetables and herbs, with particle size distribution, organic matter and nutrient content adjusted for farming. It is normally installed at a media depth of 8 inches or more and can be combined with rooflite drain. The line is offered in saturated weight classes 600 (60-70 lbs/ft3), 700 (70-80 lbs/ft3) and 800 (80-90 lbs/ft3), numbered by typical fully saturated weight per ASTM E2399, and not every class is available in every region. rooflite soils are blends of graded porous lightweight aggregates (pumice or expanded clay, slate or shale) with USCC STA compost, sold by the cubic yard and delivered in bulk, super sacks or one cubic foot bags.
