Everest Guard is a welded, stackable powder-coated steel snow guard offered as the EG10 and EG16, which the product page calls "the strongest snow guard available" and marks patent pending. The EG10 is 10 inches in overall length with a 5.8 inch strap and a 4.28 square inch pad area, for new installation on asphalt shingles, metal shingles and some synthetics and for retrofit on most synthetic shingle and cedar shake roofs. New installation uses at least three ring-shank nails per guard; retrofit uses three Woodbinder Eclipse fasteners, sold separately. Stocked in Dark Bronze, Harbor Gray and Black.
