Remington Solar's roof-mount solar attic fans pair a brushless DC motor with a pre-installed thermostat and humidistat in a powder-coated steel housing, offered at 20, 30, 40 and 60 watts. The 20 watt page prints attics up to 1,400 sq. ft., switching on above 80 degrees F or 75 percent relative humidity, a 22.5 x 22.5 x 11 in., 25 lb unit, and "Texas Windstorm Certified NOT Miami-Dade Certified". The 40 watt galvanized steel model is listed for attics up to 2,400 sq. ft. with a 38 volt brushless motor and a panel that tilts up to 45 degrees. The 60 watt page says both "Covers up to 4,000 sq. ft." and "3,000 plus square feet attics". Remington's warranty policy gives its attic fans a life long warranty for parts only, not labor, for the registered original owner.
