The original Reinke Shakes shingle, manufactured from 1976 to April 2019 and since replaced by the larger Reinke Shakes LT. It was a 12 3/8 in. by 10 in. aluminum shingle (3003 or 3105 alloy, .020 gauge stucco embossed to .025) with a 12 in. by 8 in. exposure, tightly corrugated to .400 in., weighing 46 pounds per square at 150 shingles per square, with a fluorocarbon face finish and also offered in 12 oz. hard copper. The maker states it no longer holds inventory beyond a few individual shingles and keeps the technical data online for existing roofs, including a 50-year limited transferable warranty against water leakage, 120 mph wind and 1 1/2 in. hail.
