The AFR SLR is QuietCool's solar-powered roof mount attic fan, offered as the SLR-25, SLR-40 and SLR-65. The AFR SLR-40 pairs a 40 watt polycrystalline solar panel and DC motor with an included AC/DC inverter so it can keep running at night, and has a built-in preset thermostat (77 F off, 88 F on). Its spec sheet prints 1,104 CFM covering up to 1,500 square feet of attic, a 14 in. rough cut-out, included primary flashing for 3:12 to 8:12 roofs, a separately sold SLR-CRB-2424 curb flashing for flat roofs 3:12 and below, and no fire safety shut-off.
