AtticDefense is Quarrix's soft-roll ridge vent of non-wicking, non-woven recyclable polyester matting, sold in 20-foot rolls 10 1/2 in. and 11 1/2 in. wide (3/4 in. high) and a 50-foot, 10 1/2 in. roll (1/2 in. high), installed with 1 3/4 in. coil nails. The product page and information sheet print 18.4 square inches of net free area for the 20-foot rolls and 16.2 for the 50-foot roll, a 3:12 to 20:12 slope range, compression of 13 percent with 82 percent recovery, and a Class A fire rating, without naming the test standard. The page lists asphalt shingles, metal, cedar shakes and synthetic roofing; the information sheet says standing seam metal.
