Jiffy Seal Ice & Water Guard HT 25 is a lighter 25 mil version of the HT membrane: a cold-applied, self-adhering underlayment of slip-resistant tri-layer woven polypropylene fabric coated on one side with rubberized asphalt adhesive, for low-slope areas, hips, ridges, valleys, rake edges and around skylights and chimneys on new and retrofit roofs. The data sheet prints a white surface, 36-inch by 65-foot rolls (195 sq ft), a 6-month UV exposure period, in-service temperatures up to 250 F, permeance of .04 perms and an ASTM D1970 nail-sealability pass, and says it is approved under metal roofs other than copper and zinc and can be installed on pitches down to 2/12. It is covered by the Protecto Wrap Standard 10 Year Limited Warranty.
