Deckguard HT is a 40-mil self-adhered roofing underlayment made of a slip- resistant spider-web backing laminated to a high-temperature rubberized asphalt compound under a film release liner, for sloped roof decks under shingles and metal roofing on homes and commercial buildings and for waterproofing valleys, skylights and protrusions; it seals around nails against ice-dam backup and wind-driven rain and can be bonded with Polyguard 650 WB liquid adhesive. The product overview (rev. 052125) prints a 260 degree F softening point (ASTM D36), a 60-day UV exposure limit, 338 psi tensile strength and more than 184 percent elongation (ASTM D412), puncture resistance above 22 lbf (ASTM E154), 0.01 perms, and passes for nail sealability and thermal stability with peel adhesion above 15 lb/in to ASTM D1970. Rolls are 36 inches by 75 feet (225 square feet).
