Polytherm is a rigid polyisocyanurate roof insulation board with a closed-cell foam core and a fiber-reinforced black non-asphaltic organic facer suited to modified bitumen systems, including direct application of ADESO self-adhered membranes in most cases. It comes in flat and tapered 4 ft by 4 ft or 4 ft by 8 ft panels and is installed with mechanical fastening, adhesives or hot asphalt; LTTR values are determined under CAN/ULC-S770 and ASTM C1289. The data sheet lists FM Approved, UL Classified under UL 1256, 263, 790 and 1897 (Class A in various roof assemblies), CAN/ULC-S704, Miami-Dade County and Florida Building Code. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
