Polystick XFR is a self-adhered, fire-resistant, high-temperature waterproofing underlayment made mainly for metal roofs, built on Polyglass's ADESO dual-compound technology with its patented Burn-Shield Technology for fire and ember resistance. It is fiberglass reinforced, rated to 265 F, has a cavitated slip-resistant top film with up to 180 days of UV exposure, and is also approved under wood and asphalt shingles and synthetics; it can be the top layer over Polystick MTS Plus or part of a two-ply XFR assembly. The data sheet lists a nominal 80 mil thickness, 49 ft 3 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 150 sq ft net, product code PSXFRQ, and a listing of ASTM D1970, ASTM E108/UL790 Class A fire resistance, UL Classified, California State Fire Marshal listing, ICC ESR-1697, FORTIFIED Roof compliant, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County approved and Texas Department of Insurance. The Class A rating applies to the listed assemblies only: combustible decks under UL-listed copper or steel standing seam panels, stone-coated shingles or Class A asphalt shingles, and, with a required second ply, aluminum panels of 0.032 in minimum (UL TGFU.R25992 and TGDY.R25992). Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
