Polystick TU Plus is a self-adhered, dual-reinforced wind and water tile underlayment for foam-adhered or mechanically fastened roof tile, built on Polyglass's ADESO dual-compound technology with a UV-resistant plastomeric upper compound and a self-adhesive SBS lower compound. An internal fiberglass mat and a polyester surface fabric give puncture resistance under heavy tile, the top surface is engineered for slip resistance and tile stacking, and patented SEALLap factory-applied adhesive seals the overlaps. Made for clay and concrete tile, it can also go under slate, is suited to temperatures up to 265 F under tile, metal and other coverings, and allows exposure up to 360 days subject to local codes. The data sheet lists a nominal 80 mil thickness, 65 ft 8 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 200 sq ft net, product code PSTUPLQ, and a listing of ASTM D1970, UL Classified, ICC ESR-1697, FORTIFIED Roof compliant, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County approved and Texas Department of Insurance. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
