PolyPlus 60 is a premium non-fibered aluminum roof coating whose aluminum flakes leaf to the surface to form a reflective metallic shield over asphalt-based roofs and most metal substrates, including new or existing APP or SBS smooth or mineral surface cap sheets, asphalt built-up roofs and flashings; Polyglass does not recommend it over thermoplastic or thermoset membranes. It has a soft-settle formulation for easier mixing, is made to be compatible with Polyglass membranes, is applied by spray, roller or brush, and comes in 4.75 gallon pails, with a printed reflectance of 60 to 65 percent. The data sheet says it meets or exceeds ASTM D2824 Aluminum Roof Coating Type I and lists UL Classified (File R14571), FM Approved, Texas Department of Insurance, Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County product control approval.
