Polyflex is an APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat, with a smooth sand top surface and a burn-off film bottom for heat welding. It is used as a base, interply or cap sheet in multi-ply low-slope assemblies and is an approved mechanically attached base sheet for the Velociflex system. The data sheet lists a nominal 160 mil thickness, 32 ft 10 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 100 sq ft, product code PF40SPZ, and ASTM D6222 Type I Grade S, UL Classified, FM Approved, ICC ESR-2018, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County and Texas Department of Insurance listings. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 5 years.
