Polyflex Talc is an APP modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat, with a factory-applied dry talc top surface and a burn-off film bottom. It is used as a heat-welded base, interply or cap sheet in multi-ply low-slope assemblies, and successive layers can be another ply of Polyflex Talc or Polyflex G cap sheets. The data sheet lists a nominal 150 mil thickness, 32 ft 10 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 100 sq ft, and ASTM D6222 Type I. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 5 years.
