Polyglass's APP (Atactic Polypropylene, plastomeric) modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat, designed for use as a heat-welded base, interply or cap sheet in multilayer low-slope assemblies. The top surface is smooth sand-finished with a factory-applied burn-off film on the bottom; successive layers can be heat-welded with an additional ply of Polyflex 5.0 or Polyflex G cap sheets. Polyflex 5.0 requires a compatible granulated cap sheet or approved roof coating to complete the roofing system. No UL 790/ASTM E108 roof covering class is stated on the product page or data sheet; fire classification is assembly-dependent.
