PolyBrite 71 is a water-based 100 percent acrylic elastomeric base coat that cures to a seamless fluid-applied roof membrane and resists bleed-through. It goes over BUR, smooth and mineral modified bitumen, most metal roofs, exterior plywood, single-ply (primer may be needed), rigid cover boards, stucco and concrete. The data sheet lists UL Classified (file R14571), FM Approved and ICC ESR-4038, with a VOC under 20 g/L. Its product warranty covers manufacturing defects that result in the material not meeting product specifications for 12 months.
