Polyanchor XFR is a mechanically attached, fire-rated ember- and water-resistant underlayment with a plastomeric modified bitumen top compound, a self-sealing bottom compound, a fiberglass mat and an embedded mineral walking surface, using Polyglass Burn-Shield Technology. It is made mainly for clay and concrete tile in wildland-urban interface areas and may be left exposed up to 180 days. The data sheet lists a nominal 63 mil thickness, 65 ft 8 in by 39-3/8 in rolls, a California State Fire Marshal listing, UL Classified, ASTM D4601 Type II, ASTM D6757, ASTM D226 Types I and II and FORTIFIED Roof compliant; its ASTM E108/UL 790 Class A listing is tied to the assembly layer requirements printed on the sheet. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
