Polyanchor SU is a lightweight nailable synthetic roof underlayment with a non-woven fiber top and a polymeric coated bottom, for steep-slope roofs under asphalt shingles, synthetic shingles and cedar shakes. It is meant to be paired with Polystick IR-Xe at eaves and valleys and carries a 90-day UV resistance claim. The data sheet lists 286 ft by 42 in rolls covering about 904 sq ft, and ASTM D226 Types I and II, ASTM D4869 Types I and II, ASTM D8257, FORTIFIED Roof compliant, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County and Texas Department of Insurance (pending); its ASTM E108/UL 790 Class A listing applies when installed under asphalt shingles. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
