Polyanchor HU is a mechanically attached hybrid roof underlayment with reinforced fabric facers bonded to a modified bitumen core (Tri-Strata Technology), the core making up over 80 percent of the product. It is made for steep-slope roofs under mechanically attached tile, asphalt shingles and shakes and supports up to 180 days of UV exposure. The data sheet lists a nominal 40 mil thickness, 131 ft by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 400 sq ft, and the physical and performance requirements of ASTM D226 Type II and ASTM D4869. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
