PG 800W is a non-fibered, asphalt-based clay emulsion used as a protective roof coating over smooth-surfaced asphalt built-up and modified bitumen membranes, and as a base coat under reflective elastomeric coatings. With polyester reinforcement it can serve as a surface protectant or waterproofing, and it is also listed for metal roofs, masonry, stucco, parapet walls, curbs and base flashings. It has a semi-paste consistency for brush, roller or spray application and comes in 5 gallon pails. The data sheet lists ASTM D1227 Type III Class 1 and ASTM D1187, UL Classified (file R14571), FM Approved and Texas Department of Insurance (pending), and a 12 month product warranty against manufacturing defects.
