PG 425 is a trowel-grade asphalt roof cement for wet-weather leak repair that can be applied to wet or dry surfaces, including in standing water. It is used on shingles, asphalt built-up roofs, metal and masonry roofs and around flashings, chimneys, vents, skylights and gutters, and is not for thermoplastic or thermoset membranes. The data sheet lists ASTM D4586 Type I, ASTM D3409 adhesion to wet surfaces and Miami-Dade County approval. Its product warranty covers manufacturing defects that result in the material not meeting product specifications for 12 months.
