PG 100 is a general purpose penetrating asphalt primer used to promote adhesion before hot-mopped, cold-applied and self-adhered membrane systems and before roof cements, mastics and asphalt-based adhesives. It is sold in pails and spray cans. The data sheet lists ASTM D41 Type II for pails and Type I for spray cans, FM Approved, FORTIFIED Roof compliant, Texas Department of Insurance, Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County approval, and a VOC under 350 g/L. Its product warranty covers manufacturing defects that result in the material not meeting product specifications for 12 months.
