Modibase is an SBS modified bitumen roofing membrane on a fiberglass mat saturated and coated with a rubberized asphalt compound. It is designed as a base sheet for mechanically attached systems and may be used as a base or interply in hot asphalt or cold-process adhesive systems. The data sheet lists a nominal 50 mil thickness, 108 ft by 36 in rolls covering about 300 sq ft, and ASTM D4601 and UL Classified. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 2 years.
