Polyglass G2 Base is a fiberglass mat coated with an oxidized asphalt blend, made as a base sheet for built-up and modified bitumen roofing. It is designed mainly as a mechanically attached base layer under Polyglass torch interply and cap sheets and may also suit hot-mopped or cold-applied systems. The data sheet lists a nominal 52 mil thickness, 108 ft by 36 in rolls covering about 300 sq ft net, product code PB1101, and ASTM D4601 Type II, UL Classified, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County and Texas Department of Insurance listings. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 1 year.
