Elastovent is an SBS modified bitumen venting base sheet for multi-ply low-slope roofs where venting of the substrate is wanted; a granule underside lets air move between the membrane and the substrate. It has a heavy-duty fiberglass reinforcement and a sand top for cold adhesive, heat welding or hot mopping of an approved Polyglass base or cap sheet. The data sheet lists a nominal 130 mil thickness, 32 ft 10 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 100 sq ft, and ASTM D4897 Type II, UL Classified, Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County listings. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 2 years.
