Elastoflex SA V Polar Base is a self-adhered SBS base ply for low-slope roofing in colder weather, made with ADESO dual-compound technology over a fiberglass mat, with a polyolefin film top with laylines and a split release film bottom. It is rated for application from 25 F to 60 F and serves as a base or interply in self-adhered and torch systems, typically under Elastoflex SA P Polar Cap. The data sheet lists a nominal 80 mil thickness, 65 ft 8 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 200 sq ft, and ASTM D1970, ASTM D6163 Table 2 and UL Classified. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 5 years.
