Elastoflex S6 is a smooth-surface SBS modified bitumen membrane reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat, used as a base ply or interply in multi-ply low-slope assemblies. It comes with film or sand on the top and bottom: film-backed rolls are heat welded and sand-backed rolls go down in hot asphalt or cold adhesive, and it is an approved mechanically attached base sheet for the Velociflex system. The data sheet lists a nominal 118 mil thickness, 32 ft 10 in by 39-3/8 in rolls covering about 100 sq ft, and ASTM D6164 Type I, UL Classified, FM Approved, ICC ESR-2018, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County and Texas Department of Insurance listings. Its product disclaimer warrants against manufacturing defects that directly result in leakage for 2 years.
