An SBS (elastomeric) modified bitumen base sheet reinforced with a fiberglass mat, used as the base ply or interply of multi-layer low-slope assemblies and installed mechanically fastened, in hot asphalt, heat-welded or with cold adhesives; film-topped rolls can serve as the base sheet in self-adhered systems. Top and bottom surfaces come sanded or with a burn-off film. The data sheet (edition 05/26) lists an 80 mil nominal thickness, about 106 lbs per 200 sq. ft. roll, and lists it as UL Classified, FM Approved, Miami-Dade County Approved, FORTIFIED Roof compliant and accepted under the Florida Building Code.
