The RTU-20 Center and Corner equipment supports carry air handlers, blowers and exhaust fans; the product page describes them for units not exceeding 12 inches in height above the roof surface. Supports are leveled and squared before the equipment is set, then tied together with all-thread or bracing, and can replace existing supports in a retrofit. The RTU-20 uses 18 x 18 x 3 inch square or 18 inch round bases. It installs without roof penetrations, flashings or damage to the roofing material, on roofs from flat up to 2 in 12 slope, and sits on contractor-supplied isolation pads. Bases are injection-molded high-density, high-impact black polypropylene with UV inhibitors and antioxidants (55.8 lb/cu ft), framing is hot-dip galvanized carbon steel, and seismic and high-wind versions are offered.
