The PHP-D is a goal-post style rooftop support with a single crossbar below the duct that carries square or round ducting, cable tray and piping at a specified height and width; an enclosed version adds a crossbar above the duct and an uplift bar. It uses 18 x 18 x 3 inch square or 18 inch round bases, 12 gauge roll-formed channel in 1-5/8 or 1-7/8 inch sizes, and optional horizontal bracing. It installs without roof penetrations, flashings or damage to the roofing material, on roofs from flat up to 2 in 12 slope, and sits on contractor-supplied isolation pads. Bases are injection-molded high-density, high-impact black polypropylene with UV inhibitors and antioxidants (55.8 lb/cu ft), framing is hot-dip galvanized carbon steel or 304 stainless steel channel, and seismic and high-wind versions are offered.
