Products / Penn Slate Roofing Slate

Natural roofing slate quarried by Penn Slate from its two quarries in the Pennsylvania Slate Belt near Slatington, a blue-gray slate hand split after extraction and cut to the customer's order. Penn Slate describes slate roofs as fire resistant, energy efficient and needing little or no maintenance, and takes roofing slate orders by project inquiry; its site publishes no standard sizes, grades or test results.
